No, the really real news is that I’ve invited much-beloved commenter Ellie to become a contributor to FatGrrl.com….and she has accepted! Perhaps unbeknownst to many of you, Texas can indeed produce more than, well, you know, idiots. And Ellie is a shining example of that. Happily, however, Ellie doesn’t call that state her homeland which means I’m still free to make fun of Texas. Which is as it should be.

Anyway, I think Ellie rocks OUT LOUD and ON PARADE (a phrase I stole from her, by the way). And when she asked me to wear her class ring, well, I knew it was love. I know you’re curious….read more interesting facts about her!
